5 hour Pet First Aid and CPR class consisting of hands-on learning

Be the lifeline your pet needs when every second counts. Rideout’s Furstaid class equips pet owners with essential, hands-on skills to stay calm and take action in any emergency. Through expert instruction and real-world demonstrations, you’ll gain the confidence to assess your pet’s condition, respond quickly, and provide critical care before professional help arrives.

Upon completion of Rideout’s Furstaid pet first aid and CPR class you will receive certification for 2 years and be able to confidently:

  • Understand how to check your pet’s vitals 

  • Control bleeding and bandage a wound…preventing excessive blood loss and infection

  • Recognize signs of injury, illness, and distress

  • Perform the Heimlich maneuver on your pet

  • Use proper techniques to restrain your pet during an emergency

  • Use External Extraction technique to remove obstructions blocking airway

  • Perform CPCR (cardio pulmonary cerebral resuscitation) on your pet

At Rideout’s Furst Aid, class sizes are kept small to ensure a hands-on learning experience. Because each space is reserved in advance and preparation begins as soon as you register, all sales are final.

Cancellations & Transfers

  • We do not offer refunds for cancellations or no-shows.

  • If you can’t attend, you may transfer your registration to another date or person at no additional cost if you notify us at least 72 hours before the class.

  • Cancellations made within 72 hours or failure to attend will result in forfeiture of the class fee.

Cancellations by Rideout’s Furst Aid

  • If we must cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive the choice of a full refund or a credit toward a future class.
