Through expert instruction and real-world demonstrations, you’ll gain the confidence to assess your pet’s condition, respond quickly, and provide critical care before professional help arrives.

Upon completion of Rideout’s Furstaid pet first aid and CPR class you will receive certification for 2 years and be able to confidently:

• Understand how to check your pet’s vitals 

• Control bleeding and bandage a wound…preventing excessive blood loss and infection

• Recognize signs of injury, illness, and distress

• Perform the Heimlich maneuver on your pet

• Use proper techniques to restrain your pet during an emergency

• Use External Extraction technique to remove obstructions blocking airway

• Perform CPCR (cardio pulmonary cerebral resuscitation) on your pet
